As National Tree Week gets under way, marking the start of the planting season, meet Sam and Liam, two of the borough’s four tree officers, based on Wandsworth Common, who have responsibility for surveying all the borough’s trees on a regular basis. The talk will range from the role of the Tree Officer, the challenges they face, how climate change is affecting their work, and what we can expect from this planting season.
